School Lunches

Welcome to Olive Dining.
We're delighted to be the catering partner for your school and are passionate about making every mealtime something children can look forward to.
At Olive Dining, children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe school food should be delicious, nutritious and exciting, while giving children the opportunity to discover new flavours, enjoy familiar favourites and develop a positive relationship with food.
Our meals are freshly prepared on site by our dedicated catering teams, using high quality ingredients and seasonal produce wherever possible. From farm to fork, we care about where our food comes from – choosing responsible suppliers, supporting British and local produce and making thoughtful choices that are better for our children and our planet.
Our exciting three-weekly menus offer plenty of variety, with delicious hot dishes inspired by different flavours, alongside a fresh deli selection of salads, sandwiches and baguettes.
There’s something for everyone, with menus designed to keep children well nourished, energised and ready for the rest of their school day.
We also love making food fun! Throughout the academic year, our themed days and special events bring menus to life, encouraging children to try something different and enjoy new food experiences with their friends.
Behind every meal is a passionate, skilled catering team who take pride in preparing and serving food that children love. We're proud to be part of the school community and to play our part in helping children eat well, explore food and enjoy every mealtime.

Packed Lunches - school guidance
Please use this guide when packing lunch. School lunch staff will be using it to ensure children are eating a balanced diet that is not too high in sugar and salt.

Packed Lunches - NHS tips
How is children's eating monitored?
Each class is supervised by a teaching assistant (usually their own class teaching assistant). All children are encouraged to eat and try new things. If we are concerned about your child's eating, we will pass this on to you via the class teacher.
If we are concerned about the content of the packed lunch, a note will be put in the lunchbox to highlight this.
