Friends of St Margaret's

Who are the Friends?
The Friends of St. Margaret’s is a registered charity that was set up as the Parent-Teacher Association where we come together to organise a wide variety of events in order to raise money for the school and to build the community spirit within the school. Most importantly it’s also a chance for the children and their families to have some fun! Download the latest newsletter below to get our latest updates.

Welcome to our new chair - Jamila Kassam!

Upcoming events:

  • Saturday 18th May - May Fair
  • Friday 12th July - Friends BBQ

Friends recently funded the fun and engaging science sessions the children enjoyed last week and there is also new equipment pending in the playground.  More projects are coming this year that Friends funding is contributing to, but with school budgets at record lows, fundraising becomes a key way we can support the school through community events and giving the children access to extra activities and resources.

Friends is a great way to meet others within our school community across multiple year groups.  All are welcome and everyone has a skill they can lend, even if you don't know it yet! Please do come along to find out more, volunteer and give back to our wonderful school!

Easy way to raise funds!

Search for all your high street stores through the fundraising page Give as you Live and set Friends of St Margaret’s Lee Church of England School as your chosen charity. www.giveasyoulive.com.
